New hair do and new outfit

Hi everyone! We are having a great week! Busy, but great! Pearson and I are enjoying our days together and loving that Daddy is home much earlier now that football season is over for him. We went to the school I taught at last year yesterday to see all of my previous students and Pearson was a hit! They all loved him. I got my hair cut again this week, back to the shorter stacked style in back, longer on the sides. I tried a new hairdresser and liked her a lot! You should have all seen me trying to take this self picture of the back of my hair. I am a dork I know. :) Here is Pearson in another cute outfit! Gammy, your friend Sheila sent us this one! Rolling over!!!!!

Pearson is rolling over from his stomach to back!! We are such proud parents!!!!!!!

Smiley Boy!

Pearson is getting to be such a big boy! He is lifting his head up, smiling, and cooing. He is the light of our lives! Even when we are sleep deprived we still thing he is the greatest thing ever! He rolled over yesterday for the first time and we did not have the camera ready. We will work on that. I tried to post a video of him and Brian playing, but blogger was taking too long. I'll try again later. We have had a great restful weekend. It has been so nice to have Brian home for 5 days. :)) I love long weekends! We put up the Christmas decorations this weekend and the house is looking ready for Christmas. Pearson helped as he sat in the BabyBjorn while I put on the ornaments. We had a great time at our friends' Rich and Robin's house for dinner on Sat. Then today was another great day at church. More videos to come later. Off to nap while he naps! Love to all!!

We are so blessed and so grateful this Thanksgiving! We are very thankful for God's grace and mercy, our precious miracle baby, Pearson, our amazing family and fabulous friends! God is so good! Marvelous Monday

Hello friends and family,

It is a marvelous Monday here. Pearson is growing, smiling, and cooing! He is so precious! Brian and I went on a date this weekend and Pearson was a very good boy for Miss Kristen! Thanks again for watching him, Kristen! We had a good day at church on Sunday and the boys watched the Cowboys again! Go Cowboys!! Here is a new picture of him. This picture is a special picture in honor of Kate and Hayden who picked out this outfit. Don't worry, Heather, he has a "Mommy's little boy" one too. I will try to get him in that one soon before it snows this week. Enjoy!

Great friends!!!

We are so blessed with great friends, Robin, Rich, and Aubrey! Robin and Aubrey came by to play and visit today. Pearson likes to hold Brian's hand at Bible study. He was also a good boy at the all church bunco. By the way Brian is feeling better, praise the Lord!!

Our Smiley Boy!!

Here are few new pictures of our happy, smiley boy! We received a sweet gift from a dear friend of mine this week! We never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.

We didn't worry whether or not our plants were poisonous.We never thought about immunizations.

Before we were parents -

we had never been puked on.

Pooped on.

Chewed on.

Peed on.

We had complete control of our minds and our thoughts.

We slept all night.

Before We were Parents

We never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.Or give shots.

We never looked into teary eyes and cried.
We never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.

We never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.

Before We were Parents

We never held a sleeping baby just because we didn't want to put him down.

We never felt our hearts break into a million pieces when we couldn't stop the hurt.

We never knew that something so small could affect our life so much.

We never knew that we could love someone so much.

We never knew we would love being Parents.

Before We were Parents -

We didn't know the feeling of having our hearts outside our bodies.

We didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.

We didn't know that bond between parents and their child.

We didn't know that something so small could make us feel so important and happy.

Before We were Parents -

We had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.

We had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Parent.

We didn't know we were capable of feeling so much, before we were Parents.

We are proud to be Pearson's parents! Thank you, Lord for this amazing opportunity!

Our little sleeper and MOPS

Hello friends and family,

A huge blessing this week is that Pearson has slept through the night three nights in a row!!! Yea! Praise the Lord! The schedule and routine is paying off! I am so thrilled! I had forgotten what a full night's sleep felt like. I know there will still be long nights to come in motherhood, but for now I am celebrating this milestone!

Another huge blessing this week is that I went to a Mother of PreSchoolers(MOPS) meeting on Thurs. at a larger church here in CO Springs. Revelation Church(where we go) isn't big enough yet to have this ministry. So I researched it and found a church that does have one and I felt so blessed and ministered to. I almosted talked myself out of going as I knew no one there, but I am so glad I went. They had yummy food, sweet ladies, and a guest speaker who was very encouraging. I am very grateful for this ministry for moms!
