CA At home now...

Hello friends and family,
Carol Ann, Brian's mom, is resting at home now. She came home this afternoon. She is doing ok. Thank you for your prayers. If anyone reading this has brought food to the family we thank you! It was such a blessing to have a yummy dinner tonight made by everyone who loves us so! Thanks!

In TX and prayer requests...

Hi! Here is Pearson playing at the airport on Monday. And here are Brian and his brothers chatting. We arrived safely on Monday in Texas. We were able to move our trip up 2 days to be with Carol Ann, who is in the hospital at Baylor in Dallas. Please continue to pray for her. She has been in the hospital since Sun. and we hope she can come home today. We are very grateful we were able to move our travel plans up 2 days without an airline charge and be here with the fam! Brian has been at the hospital this week and Pearson and I have been hanging out with Nannie. More pics soon! Much love to all!

Happy Easter!!!

We have had a great Easter day!! We hope the rest of you have too! Pearson had fun opening his Easter basket to find new pacifiers, new shoes, a quacking duck, and a new bib. We had a great time at church and at lunch with our friends! Then to come home to nap and rest!

I love this time of year to reflect upon God's grace and Jesus' resurrection! May you be blessed on this Easter!

Pearson is 7 months old!

An Awesome week with friends!!!

We were so very blessed to have our best friends, Phil, Beth, Julianne, Dylan and Kyle come see us this week! They came to see us during their spring break! Upon arrival on Monday we hung out and played together then we drove out to Garden of the Gods. Sorry no pictures of this event as we both forgot our cameras.

Kyle LOVES Pearson so much! I think Beth likes him a little bit too.

On Tuesday we went to Focus on the Family. We had a great time playing together in the Adventures of Odyssey area. Julianne and Dylan had a great time pretending to be different characters!

We went to a park near our house to play on Tues. afternoon. Aren't they soo cute?!!
Wednesday we headed to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Pearson will be visiting there a lot this year thanks to Aunt Tammi and her crew as that was one of his Christmas presents to go often on a family pass!! Thanks Aunt Tam!! We had a great time seeing all the animals and playing. I especially like the giraffes. Pearson didn't know what to think!
What a great looking group!! Our sweet friends posing for a family portrait!!
After having lots of fun at the zoo we headed to the Broadmoor hotel to walk around and enjoy the scenery. This is a historic, beautiful hotel here in Colorado Springs.
I am convinced that having older children around wear babies out!!! Pearson has taken awesome naps this week!! He crashed in his crib this morning after our sweet friends left! Can you guys come more often to play with Pearson?
Dear Phil and Beth,
We love you dearly and are so glad you came to see us!! We had a great time visiting with you and your precious children!! Thank you for the influence you have on us! Our lives have been so richly blessed because of you and your friendship!! We are so grateful to call you friends!! You are welcome anytime!
Love,
T, B, and P
PS-We head to TX in 6 days to see the fam! Not that anyone here or there is counting!! Much love to all!

M.O.M.S. Garage Sale!!!

Hi friends! My friend, Amanda and I went to a Mothers of Multiples Society garage sale on Saturday! It was amazing!! They had so much stuff!! It was awesome!! I tried to take more pictures but they didn't turn out very well. We bundled up the babies and only had to stand in line for a little while. We both had a good time and found some good buys. We both decided when we go again we will leave the babes with their Daddies so we can shop more without the strollers. For more pictures click on this website http://www.mothersofmultiples.com/New%20Website/Clothing%20Sale.htm. The pictures look exactly what it looked like yesterday! To all my mommy friends out there if you ever get a chance to go to one of these sales in your area: GO! It was worth the $1 to get in! For all my Colorado mommies: The next one is in August. It is in Castle Rock! Here are a few pics of our precious little shoppers!

So I am such a copy cat of what my friend Aimee puts on her blog. So here is my personality type. I thought this was a fun test to take today. I too have taken this test years ago and it didn't surprise me to see the results. I am going to have Brian take it too to compare. :) Enjoy and check it out and find out your personality type. :))

Prayer Requests...

Hello friends and family,
Please pray for Carol Ann, Brian's mom, as she has fluid around her lungs and will have a procedure to have it removed today. She has been having adverse side effects from the chemo therapy lately. Thank you for your prayers.

Also please pray for my sister, Tammi, who is very sick with the flu. Thanks!

Pearson seems to be feeling better from RSV. He still has the cough and occasional runny nose, but the fever is gone! Thank goodness. Now we would just like to sleep one night through, oh well. Some day.

Much love,
T, B, and P

RSV

Hi friends and family,

The look on Pearson's face in this picture sums up the week. I took him to the dr on Thursday and he has respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). They did a flu and RSV test with a swab and the flu test was negative, but RSV was positive. We have been giving him tylenol and motrin for the fever and benadryl to help clear the drainage. We have also been giving him diluted pedialyte to make sure he doesn't get dehydrated. And lots of TLC from Mommy and Daddy! It has been hard to watch our usually happy, smiley boy be sick! We will all be happy to be a healthy family again! Aimee, I don't know how you did it for a month! Whew!!

To all our Texas friends and fam: We are glad you got to see some of the white powdery stuff this week!! Have fun playing in the snow! It won't last long in TX!

Sweet feverish boy!

Yesterday when I picked up Pearson our of his crib from his nap I immediately knew he was warm! I checked his temperature with our Little Tykes pacifier thermometer and it read 100.5. It plays "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" when the child has a fever and it played the tune for the 1st time ever! I quickly called a friend to ask advice and then began tender, love and care and other techniques to get our sweet boy back to health. He has a cough and a little congestion and it has been a joy to care for him at home. He slept well and this morning the fever is down. I have to say it is nice to be able to be home with him and give him all that he needs right here in our house. I am truly grateful to be his Mommy! He is so sweet. He has slept more than usual, it is as if he knows "oh I don't feel good, I think I'll go back to sleep." More details later. If I can get a good picture of him I will post it. :)
TaTa for now!

Nana came for a visit!!!

Nana (my mom) came to see us this weekend!! She got here on Friday night. We hung out and had a great weekend! On Friday night, she fed Pearson his rice cereal.

Saturday we went shopping at an outlet mall nearby. We found great deals at The Children's Place and Carter's.

Here is our smiley boy ! Here is Pearson seeing Brian after a long day of a wrestling tournament for Brian.
Nana thought Pearson would fit in her suitcase to take him back to Texas! We said "oh, no you don't!!" Nice try, Nana!!

On Sunday we went to church and hung out at home. Here is Pearson and Nana together after church. We found this precious sweater as one of our great finds while shopping. We also went to KMart on Sunday and to Red Robin for dinner! Thanks, Nana for coming to see us! It was such a fun treat!!!

Here is a video I took on Sunday! I am loving the video function on our camera!
