Daddy's Biggest Football Fans!

We are Brian's biggest fans when he is coaching football. We love to go and watch him and his teams!

The boys are troopers for the first game and then get restless and want to run around.

On Saturday we went to a motorcycle and car show just as a free, fun thing to do. Pearson got to sit on a police motorcycle. He is getting so big!

Then both of the boys got to sit in a fire truck!

My three guys in front of the fire truck!

Fun, Family times!

Papa came for a visit!

We were excited when Papa called last week to see if he could come play with us! We went to a fun park to play and the boys loved every minute of it! Thanks Papa for spending the morning with us! We love you!

More September Fun!

We are still having fun in the sun in September. We found a new park last week that was just right for the boys ages. I struggle sometimes when the park equipment is too big for them, especially Aaron. Especially since he thinks he is as big as Pearson. But this one was just right! We will definitely go back there again!

We were also able to be at our nieces' 7th birthday party this weekend. This aunt has missed too many parties and I was sooooooooo happy to be there! I also loved that from the moment I walked in to my sweet sister's house she let me help her! I so loved helping her this time as she has helped me so many times in the past 4 years! My sis and bro in law went all out as usual and hosted an amazing American Girl party for sweet Maddie!

Our house lately...

All is good at our house. Here are a few highlights from the past month. Pearson received his big wheel from Nana and Papa for his birthday present! He loves it! He asks to ride it every morning around 7:45am and some days I say "Yes!" and off we go early in the morning. Mornings really are the best times to be outside still here in good ole' hot humid TX!

Last week the boys and I were supposed to go to a picnic outside and it rained for three days straight so we had a picnic on our living room floor with many of our beloved "Nannie" blankets. This was a good idea for literally 10 minutes before both boys were up running around the living room, NOT this momma's idea of how to eat lunch! All of the food on those sweet little plates ended up all over the place, but that's ok, we had a lot of fun having a picnic!

We played outside in our front yard one evening and the humidity was so high that both of the boys were so sweaty!! The pics to prove it!

We are still loving where we are living. Brian is enjoying his new job and being close to home. He commute is all of 1o minutes! So grateful for that. The boys and I go have lunch with him, take his coaches goodies on game days, and deliver his favorite soda when we can. While he is gone working so much during football season, we miss him, but we are so grateful for all of his hard work for our family!

I am getting acculmated in our new town and area too. I love being in a smaller town, but also love that I can be in a larger area/town in 15-20 minutes. We went to MOPS for the first time last week and enjoyed it. I am also loving a Bible study that I am doing while the boys are cared for by two sweet teenagers. I am also enjoying that on long football Fridays the boys and I can get to either of families to hang out or we meet my mom somewhere to play! Very fun!

30 Days of Excellent in Every Way!

I have decided to join another blogger mommy and take this challenge. I know as a Mommy of my two precious angels I don't always praise them enough and so I am going to be working on my words this month.

Genesis 1:31 says, "Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was excellent in every way." (NLT)

I love how that is worded, "excellent in every way".... Our children are excellent in every way, in spite of how they act at times. They were made in Gods' image and he said his creation is excellent.

I will be praying for God to show me ways that my children are excellent. I will be blogging about it and updating my Facebook status about how they are excellent. And I will be telling my precious children how excellent they are! I pray that my words build them up and encourage them and glorify Our Heavenly Father.

You can click on the button on the right to go to the blog about it too.

Today, Sept 1st Pearson is excellent in his independence. He is able to put on his own shoes now and get in and out of the car all by himself. Aaron is excellent in his communication skills, he is learning a new word daily!

Happy Healthy Boys!

Sorry for the underlining, couldn't figure out how to fix it. :)
Last week both the boys had well check appointments. Pearson's 3rd year and Aaron's 18 month! I am happy to report that they are both healthy and doing great! They are only 5 inches apart! That is crazy to me! Aaron thinks he is just as big as Pearson and any other taller child he is around. Both boys are growing physically well and developing appropriately! I am one proud mama!

Here they are waiting for the appointment fun to really begin!

Pearson loves his new goggles and motorcycle!

Aaron is thinking "Let's get this show on the road!"

All these happy pics were taken before three shots a piece! Thankfully I didn't get pics of that! Whew, we were a tired crew after this appointment!
