Sky Sox Baseball Game

Brian and Pearson had a great night at the Sky Sox (Rockies AAA team) baseball game. This was the first baseball game for Pearson and he had a blast. While taking pictures of Jason Giambi, another player gave Pearson a baseball. They had a fun night, while the little guy and I had fun at home.

Pearson's 2nd birthday and weekend recap!

As you all know, August is a busy month for us with mine and Brian's birthday and then Pearson's birthday! He is now 2! I can't believe it! He is such a joy and such a precious gift from God. Brian and I are still amazed to be his parents. We had a great weekend celebrating his life and God's gift to us in him. My parents came to town to celebrate with us. We are so blessed that they are so committed to not miss a birthday! We know that traveling 12 + hours and giving up vacation time is a sacrifice and we are so grateful. Thanks again, Nana and Papa. We had a party on Saturday, went out to eat, rode a steam train in Cripple Creek, mom and I got pedicures and shopped (of course)! Pearson was blessed with a great party, great gifts, and great friends to shower him with love! Thanks to all of those who joined us!

The boys both had well check ups at the doctor this week. Thankfully my parents were here to help me as their appt was at the same time. Both boys are doing great growing and meeting milestones.

Family times at home...

"Like father, like son!" Pearson is so cute these days, as if that has ever changed! He tries to do every thing Brian does! He loves to play Brian's playstation game and he tries to sit the same way Brian sits! So precious!

This morning I found Pearson sitting in the baby papasan seat! He didn't seem to find anything wrong with this picture. He was as happy as a clam, that little ham!!

Cakes and Birthday celebration!

So I decided to want to try to make Pearson's birthday cakes this year. I felt like I needed to practice so I used our birthday celebration as a time to make the practice cakes. Not too bad for a rookie. I still need practice with the icing part. We had a good time having pizza, cake and ice cream with our sweet friends Rich, Robin, and Aubrey!

Happy Birthday, Brian/ AKA Daaaeeeee!!!

Sunday was my sweet husband's birthday! I am so blessed to be his wife! Brian, you are an awesome Daddy to our sweet boys. Pearson and Aaron and I love you so much!



We went to Red Robin for our free birthday burgers. If you sign up for their birthday email club they send you a free burger coupon of your choice. Since our birthdays are 1 day apart we are able to use both at one time! Free meal!! So blessed! Then they even bring you a free ice cream sundae and sing to you! Fun times!



Pearson tasted his first lemon! He didn't even make a sour face! He just kept licking it!!


We had a great weekend celebrating our birthdays! So blessed to be parents to these two sweet boys!

Aaron's new do! We forgot to brush his hair after his bath and he has had it spiked! He loves his new high chair to eat rice cereal and bananas in! The big brother wasn't too thrilled with the idea of sharing his old chair when we brought it in the house. But we reminded him that he has his new "big boy" chair now. I wonder how many more items we will have that chat about?
