Happy Halloween 2008-Updated!

Happy Halloween! We had a great night together! Brian had his last high school football game last night so we were able to celebrate together tonight! We went to Chick fil A with coupons and money from Nana! Thanks Nana and Papa! And then we went to a fall festival at a chruch and had a blast! They had a younger kids area just right for Pearson. He loved the "ball pond". He didn't understand he was supposed to did for candy, he just loved digging in the balls. We then went to trick or treat at Mark and Susan's house. He saw her bucket of candy and stopped in his tracks. Then we came home to pass out a little bit of candy and put our little puppy to bed. It was a fun night for all! We hope all of you had a great night too!

Murder Mystery Dinner Party!

On Saturday night Brian and I attended a murder mystery dinner party at our friends Rich and Robin's house. It was a 1920's theme. Brian was a gangster guy and I was a baroness who always wore a tiarra. We had a great time dressing up and pretending to be characters. Neither one of us got murdered or was the murderer. We had a great time! Thanks to all of those who let us borrow things for our costumes. We were able to dress up for a fraction of the cost because of great friends who helped us. :)) We were blessed that our sweet friends, Patrick and Sally, watched Pearson for us. He had a good night without us.

Happy Birthday, Mason!

Happy Birthday to our precious nephew, Mason! We can't believe you are two years old today! We are sorry we missed your train party, but it looks like you had a blast. We will never forget your birthday as there was a blizzard here in CO two years ago today. We love you! I can't make the picture any bigger so you'll have to click on it to see my sister's sweet family and the birthday boy!

First Snow

We had our first light snow of the season last night! Pearson didn't know what to think. I am sure he is thinking in the first picture " Hey, the sun is a little bright here, what are we doing Mom?" Then right after the pictures he fell in the snow and looked at me like, "What is this?" Enjoy!

Splat!!!

I don't know if you will be able to see the picture very well, so you may have to click on it to enlarge it! But the funniest thing happened at the end of lunch today. While I was checking other friend's blogs, Pearson found a way to spill milk all over his high chair tray with his "spill proof" sippy cup! Yea right! I look over at him and he is having a hay day splashing milk all over the place! We both crack up laughing! It was so funny! He was having a blast with his milk being sloshed all over the place. Oh the laughter! I wish you could have heard us! I love laughing with my boy!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to a "pumpkin patch" today! It wasn't quite what we had expected but very fun all the same! It was very, very windy and we stayed there all of 20 minutes. Thank goodness it was free for all three of us!! Pearson and Brian had a good time on the slide! We did get a pumpkin for the front porch. We have so loved having Brian off for two weeks to play with us. We will be sad when he goes back to work on Monday!

Fun Morning at the Zoo

We went to the zoo again today. We all had a great time! Pearson is so fearless! He loved this slide!

As we were leaving we saw a few deer along the road and took a video of them. It is fun to live in a place to see wildlife right among us.

1st Major Boo Boo!

Hi friends,
Here is our handsome boy with his first noticeable boo-boo. He fell last night in the living room and hit his chin and cheek on the cloth part of the ottoman. He was such a sport, he only cried for maybe 30 seconds. Then he was laughing and playing again. It looked 10 times worse when he woke up this morning. I am sure this will be the first of many owies(spelling unknown) to come!

We are still enjoying having Brian off in the mornings for his Fall Break! We went to eat lunch at Chick Fil-A on coupons today! We even let him play in the play area for the 1st time!

Oh and an update for Heather R., I am feeling great. Baby Boy #2 is still doing well and beginning to move more and more. Thanks for asking about how I am feeling! All is well!

Fall Foliage!

We took a family drive today to Woodland Park and Cripple Creek to enjoy the Colorado Fall Foliage! We had a nice drive. Pearson took a good nap in the car while Brian and I enjoyed all the beautiful colors and snow tipped mountains! We stopped at the Hungry Bear for lunch where the boys made silly faces when I snapped their picture! I hope you can see the snow tipped mountains behind Pearson and I.

Toddler Time at the Library!!!

Pearson is getting to be such a big boy that he has graduated from "baby time" at the library to "toddler time" now! We had a great time as a family on Thursday at the library! We will definately go back!

Fun with Family!!

On Saturday night we went to Parker to see Brian's cousin, Beth and her husband Sean, and Aunt Philis who was here from Dallas! We had a yummy dinner, great fellowship, and family fun! Pearson had a great time exploring a new house and sharing his love with the extended family. Beth and Sean will be having a baby boy in January, so she and I had a great time chatting about babies to come! Thanks Sean and Beth for having us over! We love you guys!

Helen Hunt Falls

We went to Helen Hunt Falls today for a glorious morning fall hike! Pearson rode in the Kelty BackPack and had a blast! (Thanks Jen and Joel!) Pearson and Brian hiked a little further than me. There were some steep steps that a 5 month pregnant Mommy probably didn't need to go up, so I hung back. We are very much enjoying having Brian home in the mornings while he is off for Fall Break! Yea!! Enjoy these two videos!

4. I love holiday/decorative socks! I have the most of Halloween socks and this is not my favorite holiday.

5. I have a life size baby doll that was my mom's doll when she was a little girl. It is an original Mattel doll. It is probably 45 years old. Her name is Allison.

6. I now love driving a mini van, which I never really envisioned myself doing. I even have my eye on a dream mini van that I would love to drive next! They are great for our growing family!

Baby #2 is a....

BOY!!!! After much thought on whether or not to find out the sex of our next bundle of joy, we decided to find out! We will be having another baby boy! Pearson will have a baby brother. When we told him he just looked at us as to say "ok". We are thrilled and excited! Thank you for all of your prayers and thoughts for us. Baby and I are doing great!
