Headed to TX tomorrow!

We are off to see the family tomorrow morning! We are driving half way to Amarillo and then will finish the driving on Sunday. With a 16 month old sweet boy and 7 month pregnant Momma, we didn't think 12-13 hours in the car was doable this year, so we decided to break it up. We are so looking forward to seeing the family and friends there. If we don't make it to see all of you please forgive us.

We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas. May the joy of our Lord fill your hearts this Christmas! Much love,
Trina, Brian, Pearson and Baby Boy

Happy Birthday, Papa and Hayden!!

Happy Birthday, Papa! I love you so much and can't wait to see you in two days! I hope you have an awesome birthday!!
Love, Pearson

Happy Birthday, Hayden! I know you love me very much and I can't wait to see you in a week from today! Thanks for being an awesome cousin!
Love,
Pearson

Shop until you drop!

So here is my sweet Pearson who fell asleep after a morning of Christmas shopping! He did not want to wake up to eat lunch when we got home at noon! I put the bib on him and set him in his chair only for him to keep snoozin'! Eventually with some persuasion with milk he awoke to eat and then back to sleep for a long winter's nap! I guess he was just so tired from the two shops we went to!

Fun with Friends!

Our dear friends, Rich, Robin, and Aubrey came over on Friday night for pizza, salad, and cookies. We had a fun time hanging out together and watching our little ones play. They are only 6 months apart and so fun! When Pearson was first born they looked so different when you compared them to each other, now as they both grow it is funny to see how close in size they are!

This week....

We have had a great week! Pearson is so much fun. On Monday we went to the doctor for his 15 month check up. He is now 27 pounds (79% percentile) and 33 inches tall (92% percentile). We think he is going to be a tall guy! He learned two new signs this week too: "please" and "cracker" for animal cracker since he eats lots of them. He can also come down the stairs on his own now. He can also give "fist bumps" too! His Daddy taught him how to do this! It is so cute! He will give Brian one and then immediately come to give me one too! It is so fun to watch him learn new things each week! Then on Wednesday we went to my dr appt to check on Pearson's baby brother. All was good there too. The baby's heartbeat was 148, which is average. He is growing and doing great. And the Mommy is going good too! On Thursday we went to MOPS in the snow and Pearson didn't cry! Yea!!

Then on Thursday night Pearson took a tumble on the carpet at home with his pacifier in his mouth and got this bloody nose. Now, let me say it was all Brian's idea to take this picture. He was so proud of Pearson's first bloody nose(it must be a Daddy thing). It looks way worse than it really is. He cried for all of two minutes. But he hardly ever cries when he gets hurt so I quickly gave him TLC and then saw the blood and said "oh dear!!" While we were cleaning it up, Pearson didn't even flinch. Such a tough guy!

Here is a video of Pearson from today!!

Weekend in Review...

Hello friends! We had an awesome weekend together as a family! We hung out at home quite a bit as it snowed most of the weekend. Pearson and Brian put more latches on the kitchen cabinets, we put up the Christmas decorations, and went to Parker to see Brian's cousin. Pearson loved her couch! And Brian shoveled snow so we could go to church.

I promise the cute boy did wear more than just pjs all weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a great day at our house. It was our first time to host Thanksgiving! It was fun to clean house, pull out the fine china, and cook new things! Our friends Mark and Susan joined us for a full day of food, football, and fun! We hope you all had an awesome day too! We have so much to be grateful for. I am so very thankful for my precious husband, amazing son, and baby to come and our great families and friends who enrich our lives!

Pearson's 1st haircut

Pearson had his first hair cut today!! He did so great! He didn't cry or squeal. He sat in my lap so contently! The sweet lady did a great job. I felt a little sad to watch all that baby hair go, but it was time.

Here is our big boy with his new do!! So cute!

Promised Pics...

Here are a few pictures that I promised to you, my faithful blog readers!

Pearson is such a cutie these days! He is so happy, even after a rough week with lots of diapers and a bottom rash! I know, too much information, welcome to parenthood, but he is still just so happy and delightful!

More funny faces with Daddy and about to take a drink with Mommy!

Here is our sweet growing baby boy #2 in my growing belly just for you Laurie! It is funny that this is the first belly pic I have taken in this pregnancy and I am 24 weeks along.
Have a blessed week friends!

A blessed week!

Well, I know I have not posted in awhile, because I have to confess I am addicted to Facebook. It has been fun to reconnect with old and new friends this way. But I know my faithful blogger readers are ready for an update.

All is great in our household. Brian's football coaching season is over. His team went 5 and 5 this year, which is the best they have done in many years! Pearson and I enjoy having him home earlier, although Brian isn't sure what to do with himself yet.

Pearson is doing great! He has two more molar teeth that have come in, he can now sign "all done" and the throwing of food on the floor has decreased (Praise the Lord as I was getting sad about this new behavior!) He can give kisses, wave, and blow kisses now! He is such a delight!

I am doing great. This week I feel so blessed with the love of the Lord, and love of my family and friends. God is truly an amazing God and is so good to us. We had a little scare this week thinking my mom possibly could have been diagnosed with colon cancer, then to learn that all is fine. She will have another test soon to confirm the results of the specialist, but he said not to worry. Also, baby #2 is still doing great. We went to the doctor again this week and all is going really well.
We hope all is well with all of you.
Much love,
T, B, and P
PS- I will take some pics this weekend to post. :)

Happy Halloween 2008-Updated!

Happy Halloween! We had a great night together! Brian had his last high school football game last night so we were able to celebrate together tonight! We went to Chick fil A with coupons and money from Nana! Thanks Nana and Papa! And then we went to a fall festival at a chruch and had a blast! They had a younger kids area just right for Pearson. He loved the "ball pond". He didn't understand he was supposed to did for candy, he just loved digging in the balls. We then went to trick or treat at Mark and Susan's house. He saw her bucket of candy and stopped in his tracks. Then we came home to pass out a little bit of candy and put our little puppy to bed. It was a fun night for all! We hope all of you had a great night too!
There are 5 new pics at the end of the slide show now!

Murder Mystery Dinner Party!

On Saturday night Brian and I attended a murder mystery dinner party at our friends Rich and Robin's house. It was a 1920's theme. Brian was a gangster guy and I was a baroness who always wore a tiarra. We had a great time dressing up and pretending to be characters. Neither one of us got murdered or was the murderer. We had a great time! Thanks to all of those who let us borrow things for our costumes. We were able to dress up for a fraction of the cost because of great friends who helped us. :)) We were blessed that our sweet friends, Patrick and Sally, watched Pearson for us. He had a good night without us.

Brian and I all dressed up. Rich and Robin all dressed up.

All the guys and Robin and I

Happy Birthday, Mason!

Happy Birthday to our precious nephew, Mason! We can't believe you are two years old today! We are sorry we missed your train party, but it looks like you had a blast. We will never forget your birthday as there was a blizzard here in CO two years ago today. We love you! I can't make the picture any bigger so you'll have to click on it to see my sister's sweet family and the birthday boy!

First Snow

We had our first light snow of the season last night! Pearson didn't know what to think. I am sure he is thinking in the first picture " Hey, the sun is a little bright here, what are we doing Mom?" Then right after the pictures he fell in the snow and looked at me like, "What is this?" Enjoy!

Splat!!!

I don't know if you will be able to see the picture very well, so you may have to click on it to enlarge it! But the funniest thing happened at the end of lunch today. While I was checking other friend's blogs, Pearson found a way to spill milk all over his high chair tray with his "spill proof" sippy cup! Yea right! I look over at him and he is having a hay day splashing milk all over the place! We both crack up laughing! It was so funny! He was having a blast with his milk being sloshed all over the place. Oh the laughter! I wish you could have heard us! I love laughing with my boy!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to a "pumpkin patch" today! It wasn't quite what we had expected but very fun all the same! It was very, very windy and we stayed there all of 20 minutes. Thank goodness it was free for all three of us!! Pearson and Brian had a good time on the slide! We did get a pumpkin for the front porch. We have so loved having Brian off for two weeks to play with us. We will be sad when he goes back to work on Monday!

Enjoy the very long video!!!
