Aaron's Baby Dedication

Last Sunday, we officially dedicated Aaron's life to the Lord. We had dedicated him in our hearts the moment we knew he was conceived, but it is always so special to dedicate our babies to the Lord at church. We had a special time of prayer and then we took vows to raise him in the training and instruction of the Lord. We were so blessed to have Nana and Papa with us!

Thank you Lord, for this special little boy. May he grow up to love you and may we honor you in our parenting. Amen.

Aaron's 1st Birthday!

We were so very blessed to be able to celebrate Aaron's 1st birthday with family and friends this past weekend! My parents came into town to celebrate! We had a great time fellowshipping, praying, and playing together! He is such a blessing to us! He loved cake for the first time, you would have thought he had eaten it before, he gobbled every last drop down! He didn't know what to think of all the fun! Happy 1st Birthday, Aaron!

When visiting another friend's blog tonight, I loved how she wrote all about her baby girl turning two and all the things she loved about her so I thought I would copy that fabulous idea!

I cannot believe this sweet little thing is ONE year old! Where did the year go!

Here are all the things we love about Conner Aaron:
- We love the way you wave backwards!
-We love how you say, "uh-uh" for uh-oh!
-We love how you have a ton of toys to play with, but you would much rather play with whatever your big brother has!
-We love how you stand up in your highchair even when buckled in!
-We love that you love your stroller and are a great "stroller" baby! A lifesaver for this Mommy!
-We love that you are a great sleeper(most of the time) and eater!
-We love how you smile from ear to ear! That smile can light up a room!
-We love how you lay your head on Mommy's shoulder and tuck in your arms to cuddle! So precious!
You are an amazing, precious addition to our family! We are forever grateful that God gave us you when he gave us two!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! We had a fun day together as a family! The boys were spoiled by Nana and Papa with gift cards! So I got them few goodies with the gift cards to open this morning. When Pearson opened his new Mickey Mouse clubhouse plate, he looked right at the tv, as if to say, "hey, that's the same!" He is so cute these days, talking up a storm and making tons of connections! Aaron seemed happy with all his goodies too! Thanks Nana and Papa for spoiling us! You are too good to us!

Aaron is 11 months old!

Once again a little late, but that is ok! Aaron is pulling up on everything, cruising on furniture, waving, saying "Dada" and "Mama" and "uh-oh". He now has 4 teeth. He is into everything and such a joy! Here is a video of the boys playing with the green chair. I am sure Phylis will enjoy this one!

Books, books, books!

Today while I stepped out of Pearson's room this is what I came back to find:


every book that belongs on his shelf on the floor! He is too funny! Here is a video of us talking and me trying to find out how this happened.

Here is the bookshelf after Mommy cleaned all the books. It took all I had not to organize them alphabetically by author! My teacher friends reading this know how hard that was!
