Our Growing Family!!

It is with great excitement that we share with you that our sweet family of three will become a sweet family of four in March. Yes, God is blessing us again with a miracle bundle of joy! We are expecting baby #2! We are almost 14 weeks pregnant.(See the new ticker on the side bar for exact days. ) Everything is going great! We have seen the doctor and this precious little one’s heartbeat twice. Pearson and his brother or sister will be 18 months apart. I hear this is a perfect age difference. If you had asked me years ago if I ever thought we would be blessed with two little ones I would have told you, I just don't know! I never imagined in my wildest dreams that this would happen! God knew our dreams and our heart’s desires. Our God is an awesome God! We give Him all the praise and gratitude for blessing us with these amazing children!

Please pray that the pregnancy will continue to go well with a healthy baby and Mommy and a healthy delivery! We love and appreciate you all!

Pearson's 1 year stats...

Pearson had his one year check up on Thurs. He is now 24 pounds and 30 inches long! I think he is going to be tall! He is such a delight! Look at the difference a year can make!

More fun with Nana and Papa...

I know you are all shocked at my blogging this week. Try not to get too used to it. Ha, ha! We had a great time while my parents were here this past weekend. We were so blessed to have them here with us. Here are a few more pics of our fun times together.

Another special treat was that Brian and were able to go on a date, while sweet Nana and Papa babysat Pearson. We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and then walked around Kohls only to come home at 8pm because we were tired!

Pearson's Dedication

Pearson was dedicated at church on Sunday! It was a very special time for our family. We are so blessed and grateful to God for this precious little boy! We were blessed to have Nana and Papa with us and Brian's cousin, Beth and Sean with us too!

Pearson's 1st Year in Review

Where did the year go? Pearson is the joy of our lives! He is fun, active, sweet, loving, and adventureous! We have learned so much about him in one year! He loves to play . He is a good eater and sleeper. He gives great kisses and snuggles his head on your shoulder when he is tired or not feeling good! We learned this week at at play area at the mall that he is fearless!!! He had no fear climbing up and down the slides! He is one of the sweetest gifts God ever gave us! Pearson, we love you!!!

Pearson's first Birthday party!!!

Yea!! It worked!! I have been working with slide.com for a while now and I got it to work!!! Yea!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy all of his birthday party pics! I had 126 to choose from! There are some captions under some of the slides! I hope you all enjoy them as much as we enjoyed the party! Thanks Susan for taking all the pics for me so I could be freed up to be a Mommy! He really enjoyed cake for the first time! I am sure he thought "oh, what is this sweet stuff that Mommy and Daddy have never let me have?" He got so many wonderful gifts! He is such a big boy taking a few steps on his own now! We were blessed to have Nana and Papa, Mark and Susan, Joel and Janelle and Madison, and Kari and Kristen and sweet baby Grayson there with us! We had a great day!

Happy Birthday, Pearson!!!

Happy birthday sweet boy! I can't believe one year ago today you entered our lives! What a joyous day!! I will forever remember that day and be eternally grateful to our amazing Heavenly Father for giving you to us!! We are so blessed to be your Mommy and Daddy!!

Here is Pearson eating his birthday breakfast! He had scrambled eggs for the first time. I am not sure he was impressed. More of the eggs ended up on the floor rather than his mouth! We will take tons of pictures throughout the weekend!

Spoiled Rotten by Nana and Papa...

We had a very fun day of shopping on Thursday with Nana and Papa! Pearson is spoiled rotten! We had to take a few pictures for your viewing enjoyment. When he tried on a pair of shoes still connected he didn't know what to think about it! He got some new fall clothes, shoes, and a very cute outfit to be dedicated in on Sunday! At the end of the day, sweet Nana, gave Pearson a bath!

Hi everyone! After a long day of driving from Texas, Nana and Papa made it to come spend a long weekend with us! We are planning on going shopping, having a party for Pearson on Saturday, and then he will dedicated at church on Sunday.

Pearson is very good at giving kisses!




He seems to be feeling better. I think the new medicines are working well. Thank you for all of your prayers. And yes, we are getting more sleep too! Praise the Lord! We appreciate you all!!

Sick Sweet boy again

Please pray for our sweet boy who is sick again. He has had a runny nose, coughing, wheezing, and rapic breathing again. I called the dr this morning to learn that they wanted to see him right away. So I quickly got dressed and took Pearson in his pjs to see the dr. He gave him more breathing treatment medicine and an oral steriod. The blessing is I was able to care for him at home all day, the downfall is we are all three exhausted from lack of sleep due to Pearson becoming uncomfortable in the night. I quickly forgot what sleep deprivation feels like, oh how you remember quickly. Thank you for your prayers for our sweet boy. I hope and pray he feels better for his big birthday weekend!

Fun times...

Pearson and I have many fun days together. Last week we had two more friends join us. We went to Focus on the Family to play. I do love being a stay at home Mommy. I love being able to help others by the time I have at home. I love the rhythm to mine and Pearson's days. I love that he naps twice a day in his bed. I love he plays with his toys. Now, don't get me wrong , not all days are rosy, but I do love my life. I know staying home is not for everyone, but I am so grateful for this opportunity. Just thought I would share. :)

We are getting ready for Nana and Papa's visit and Pearson's 1st birthday party this weekend!!! I ordered the cake today! I know many of you are thinking, well... she is at home, she could make it! Well, yes, I could have, but I don't have much of a creative touch and I had a coupon at Safeway! So I decided to have it made for me. I will post pics when it is ready.

Happy Birthday to me!

Sunday was my birthday! We had a very special day together. We went to church, ate lunch at home, played, took naps, and then went to Denver to the Parks Meadows Mall. I needed to have another new James Avery Charm put on my bracelet. We then splurged and had a delicious dinner at the Cheesecake Factory! Brian and Pearson bought me a glass cake platter, flowers and donuts for breakfast! And my sweet friend, Jenny, knows my obsession with flair pens and bought me 16!! Thanks Jenny! This stay at home Mommy will love them! We had a great day! Thanks to everyone who sent cards, phone calls, and emails to make my day so special!

Happy Birthday, Honey!

Today is my sweet husband's birthday! Happy Birthday, honey! You are such an amazing husband, friend, and daddy! We had a good day hanging out as a family. We had a yummy breakfast at home, had Pearson's 1 year portrait made, ate lunch, Pearson and I took naps while Brian went to play softball with some friends, then went to dinner at Red Lobster. Thank you to everyone who has sent him cards and phone calls. Honestly, today was a hard day for both of us without his sweet Momma around. We miss her so! But we know she is in heaven with Jesus and for that we are very grateful!

New furniture!!

After 12 years we decided it was time to get new furniture! We looked and looked and finally decided on this set! Hope you like it! Pearson has been trying to bite the new edging! We have firmly told him "NO!"
