So blessed!!!

While living in McKinney I played bunco once a month with an awesome group of ladies for eight years. We laughed so much and just shared life together. Yesterday we received a big box in the mail filled with gifts from my bunco group. They decided to have a shower for us and mail us the gifts! Wow!! We are so blessed. Here is a picture of Pearson with all of his new goodies around him. Thank you to my dear bunco buddies!!

We have also been blessed with meals from our church friends starting this week. Thank you soooooooooooo much!

Our Playdate today

Hello friends and family. We had a great time with our friends Kristen, Amanda, and Baby Mackenzie today. They came over for a playdate. Mackenzie was born 6 days after Pearson. We visited and talked baby talk. Lots of fun! Thanks for coming over girls!

We are having a great Sunday. Pearson went to church again today and did great! We celebrated what God has done at Revelation Church in the past two years! It was a great time of fellowship and worship! Pearson wore a new outfit from cousin Mason. We took a video of him in his swing today. It is a little dark, we will work on the lighting for next time. Enjoy! The boys are getting ready for the big Dallas Cowboy game tonight. :) More pics of that later.

Friday update

Pearson had a great night and good morning so far. He spent the night in his room in his crib for the 1st time. We all three slept great. He has been in a pack n' play in our room. He only woke up once! Yea! He is beginning to understand the feed, wake, nap routine I am trying to get him into also. He even put himself to sleep twice. :) Enjoy new pics of us playing together today!

Thanks Nana for my giraffe! And thanks Aunt Philis, Uncle Dickie, Cousin Elizabeth and Sean for my special chair. Mommy plans to take my picture there once a month.

Are you ready for some football?

Pearson went to his first of many football games today! We went to watch Brian coach his 7th grade team. Pearson did great, although the team did not. Sorry, Daddy. Pearson slept through most of the game. He sported his football outfit and looked so cute! The sun was bright but I kept him covered the whole time. Enjoy the picture of my two special boys!

Weekend Update and Happy B-day to MGC!

Hi everyone! We have had a good weekend again! Pearson is growing fast and keeping us on our toes. We had the pleasure of visiting with friends this weekend. Thanks Sally for coming over on Friday. Then on Sat. we got to visit with our friends Robin, Rich, and Aubrey. Today Pearson went to church for the first time! He did great! He was awake and quiet for a while and then fell asleep. Enjoy the family pictures.

A special Happy Birthday message goes out to Madeleine Grace today!! I can't believe you are 4 years old today!! Happy B-day sweet girl! We are sorry we missed your Cinderella party! Pearson would have loved it!

Another great day!

We had another good day! Pearson ate and slept good today! He went with Mommy to RMCA to consult with the first grade team(after school that is) and everyone adored him!! Many said he looks like Daddy. Here are a few more pics for Gammy and all to see. As his gown says he is a cutie!! We were blessed with dinner from a friend from church! So yummy! Love to all!

Great day and lessons learned in 3 weeks....

Today Pearson and I had a great day! We had our first outing together(just the two of us). It was my first time to drive with him by myself. He did great. He slept the whole time we were gone from the house. :) We then surprised Brian with a special Sonic lunch at work! Then we both took naps, had special friends visit us, and went for a walk! He was such a good boy all day!

Here are a few lessons I have learned in the three weeks since he has been born:

1. Give yourself plenty of time when you have to leave the house as the baby will spit up all over his new outfit just as you are getting ready to walk out the door. Enjoy the pics of outfit #2 today.
2. Be prepared for spit up anytime. I learned not to wear my shirt while nursing and burping as he spit up on my black shirt right before mine and Brian's date on Sat.

3. Sleep when he sleeps. The nap was great today! I feel ready to face the night now. :)

I am sure there are many, many more lessons to come!

I have been overwhelmed with such a sense of gratitude for this precious gift today! Thank you, Lord for our precious son! What an amazing gift!

Nannie Blankets and New clothes...

Dear Nannie and My two special cousins and Friends,

Thank you so much for my blankets and new clothes!! I am such a lucky little boy. I love what my mommy keeps calling "Nannie blankets"! She wraps me up in them and covers my bassinet mattress with them. To my cousins Mason and Triston: Thank you for all my new clothes!! I will be one decked out little boy! Check out my pictures of my new clothes and blankets!

I went to the dr. today. I now weigh 7 lbs. 11 oz. and I am 20 1/2 inches long. My dr. said I am perfect, but Mommy and Daddy knew that already. I am one healthy boy! I will go back in October for shots!

My Gammy and Pat have taken good care of Mommy and Daddy and me. They have cooked and cleaned all day! Yes, my Gammy can cook! HeeHee!

Our weekend in review...: (scroll all the way down to see all)

Brian and I went on a date together Sat. night while Gammy and Pat babysat Pearson! We went to dinner at Chili's on a gift card(thanks Laurie and Will for the gift card!!) Then we went to Babies R Us to return something and get Pearson more diapers. Right before we left Pearson iniated me into parenthood as he spit up on my shirt. :) Thanks, son!

Today Pearson had his first bath in his new bath tub! Too fun!

Pearson watched his first Dallas Cowboys football game with his Daddy. Gammy and Pat made him a new shirt. It is a little big, but he will grow into it! He also held his first football(Thanks Uncle Keith, Aunt Tiff, Hayden, and Kate)!

Pearson met his second cousins Sean and Elizabeth! It was so great to see them!

GG going home and Gammy is here now!!!

Hi friends! Happy day and Sad day all at the same time! GG left to go home today and Gammy and our special family friend, Pat, are here now! GG was a big help and we will miss her! Thanks GG! Now Gammy and Pat will take over where she left off. Gammy was so excited to see her grandson for the first time. I think by the sweet look on her face that she was happy to see him!!! We are looking forward to a weekend to relax and enjoy more precious family! Enjoy the pics! More to come this weekend!

Weekend update!

We've had a good weekend enjoying being parents. We got some sleep this morning while Pearson slept. Pearson watched football with Daddy this weekend, made his first of many trips to Walmart, and rested. We picked up G.G. (short for Great Grandmommie) from the airport this afternoon. She will be here this week to help us and on Thursday Gammy(Brian's mom) will join us! Pearson is sporting a new onsie that says " I love Mommy." Thanks Nana for the cute onesie! Aimee, here is the close up picture for you. I will try to post baby pictures of Brian and I later this week and then you can really tell me who you think he resembles.
