Reading and New Placemats

We have really enjoyed going to the library lately. Toddler time is so much fun with songs, rhymes, and stories. I love that I can check out books, cds, and dvds for Pearson all for FREE!

Now that Pearson is sitting at the table in his booster seat I needed a few placemats for him. I searched and searched for educational ones with numbers, colors, shapes and so on and could NOT find any here. All I could find had characters on them that he isn't into yet. So sweet Aunt Tammi found 5 for him and mailed them to him. He loves them! We have recently discovered Sesame Street and Elmo and these were perfect! Thanks, Aunt Tam!!

Memorial Day 2009

We had a great day on Memorial Day reflecting and thanking God for all of those who serve our great country! We had our great friends over to share dinner together, play games and hang out! Fun was had by all! The rain held off so we could grill our meat.

Aaron is 3 months old!!

Aaron is three months old today! Wow how time flies! He is such a sweet boy! He is starting to smile more and more! He loves to coo and talk to us too! He enjoys his Baby Einstein activity gym, the swing, and walks in the stroller. He slept through the night twice this past week, I am hoping it continues. We are so blessed by this sweet boy!

Pearson's new toys!

We had a great weekend hanging out as a family. Brian and Pearson reorganized a few things in the garage to make storage room for Pearson's high chair so we could put up his new booster seat. He loves it! He is getting so big! A sweet friend handed it down to us and we are so grateful!



We found a little tikes play gym on craigslist! We got it for a steal! Pearson loves it! We also got this basketball goal at a garage sale last week and we put together his zebra riding toy. Lots of fun to be had this summer!

Mother's Day Fun!

We had a great Mother's Day weekend! My sweet boys bought me a dozen pink roses. Brian made a special breakfast and I was able to take a nap! What a blessed day! I am so grateful to be Pearson and Aaron's Mommy! I am overwhelmed with gratitude to our awesome God for blessing me in this way! Motherhood is truly a gift! I really felt God prompting me to pray for all the sweet ladies who wish to be mommies on this special day, so if that is you out there, know you were lifted up!

This and That

I am so excited to have internet access on my computer again! Yea! I missed access during the day! I am now using Modzilla Firefox and learning all the tricks of it. Any other firefox users out there with any more tips I should know about? I am very grateful a friend at church helped me fix it!

My friend, Jenn, came over for coffee and to visit and play. While she was holding Aaron I said "Wait, I have a picture of you holding Pearson just like that." So I snapped her picture and of course I can't find the picture of her and Pearson when I want it. :)

Aaron and Pearson and I try to go for walks when we can! We love our double stroller. We are so blessed to have it!


Pearson had his first experience with playdoh! I am not sure he knew what to do with it. Thanks Amanda for sharing your homemade playdoh. Pearson will need to play with it again to get more familar with it!

Computer problems and Happy Mother's Day!!!

Hello friends,
I want to apologize for no pictures lately! I tried to install internet explorer 8 on my laptop and messed it all up and cannot get to IE at all!!! It's been a sad week! My sweet husband has been bringing his computer home from work to let me check email and FB. But I dont' want to upload pics and videos to his work computer, therefore no pics to upload yet. I hope to get the computer fixed soon! I have quite a few cute pictures and videos of the boys to share!

Anyways, Happy Mother's Day to all my fellow blogger moms! I am still amazed to be in this category! I am truly grateful to be Pearson and Aaron's mommy! May God bless all of your days!

Our big boy!

Pearson is getting so big. He had another bout with his respiratory issues this week and we are giving breathing treatments. He wanted to hold the medicine and mask himself so we let him try it and he did so great. He has held it since! He is getting so big! He is also saying more and more new words which is so fun!


He also likes to wear Brian's shoes these days too!
