Prayer needed for Madeleine Grace

Hello friends and family,

We need prayers for our precious neice, Madeleine Grace, who has recently been diagnosed with a sensory hearing loss due to damage in her brain stem. David and Tammi are doing everything they know to do to help her. Madeleine will have a neuro-psychological test on Thurs. We know God has a special plan for this precious little girl's life! For those of you who know her, you know how very precious she is!!! God has given her so very many talents and abilities. Please pray for God's peace and comfort to wash over my family and pray for her doctors to have wisdom to know how to help her. At this time there is no cure for the sensory hearing loss diagnosis, so our prayer request is that the doctors and specialists will be able to guide Tammi and David on how to communticate with Madeleine. Thank you for lifting this precious child up to our Awesome, Healing Heavenly Father!

Madeleine and Brian love to take silly self portraits! Enjoy the pics and thank you in advance for lifting her up!

Love,

Aunt TaTa and Duncle B(as Madeleine refers to us)

Awesome Shower in CO!!

We have been sooooooo blessed again! We were blessed with an awesome baby shower this weekend in Colorado Springs. Four talented, amazing ladies at our church threw us an awesome shower! We played three games, ate awesome food, and opened many generous, amazing gifts!!! One game we played everyone had to predict how large my stomach is and then measure their tape around me. My precious student who was there won that game!! Another game we played was very fun. The object of the game was to see how many balloons you could stuff in your shirt! Brian won that game with 11 balloons in his shirt! His sweet mama came in 2nd place with 9 balloons stuffed in her shirt!! We had a blast! Thank you Susan, Marti, Sallly, and Kristen for an amazing day!

We were very blessed to have Brian's mom, Carol Ann, and her friend Pat to come see us this weekend! We were so excited to have her here for the shower!! What a blessing! Enjoy the pics!

Now, I have a great "honey do" list for Brian this week. He already put together the swing and now he will work on the bouncy seat, bookshelf, hang pictures, and whatever else I come up with before he goes to work next Monday. I am so grateful for such a sweet husband! Thanks, honey for everything!!
We go back to the dr. tomorrow. Will post an update then!
Have a great week everyone! Much love to you all!!

Surprise visitor this weekend!!!

Last week Brian told me that he had a surprise early birthday present for me on Sunday after our church picnic. He asked me not to ask questions and not to doubt him. So I didn't ask any questions. I was very curious and intrigued. After the picnic Brian told me it was time to go. So we went to the mall. The whole time we were walking through the mall I kept looking for anyone we knew. I kept thinking, "Someone is coming to see us, but who? Maybe Kat!!!" Well, I was right! My best friend from college, Kathy, came to town to surprise me!! I was very surprised and happy to see her!!! Sunday night we hung out and talked for hours, then we went to dinner at Chili's. On Monday we hung out all day. We had breakfast and talked more!! Then we went to lunch at Panera Bread and shopped at the shops at Briargate! We both love Brighton and had a blast trying on sunglasses we would like and all the ones we never buy! Then we went to our doctor appt. Baby Willeford is still doing great! I got a good score on the bio physical profile. I was highly encouraged to drink more water, so I working on that. Then we drove out to the Garden of the Gods. We walked around Old Colorado City. Then we met Brian for dinner. By this time we were pooped! We hung out and talked more this morning and then she headed out around 11am. We took lots of self portraits, hope you enjoy them! It was so great to see her!! Thank you Brian and Kat for surprising me! You guys rock!

11th Anniversary-Updated

Do you recognize the couple in the first picture? Our friends here in CO Springs did not. :)) This is our engagement picture of us 11 years ago!

Today, Friday, July 13th, we celebrate 11 years of marriage! God has blessed me immensely with an amazing husband! Here are just a few reasons why I love him so: he's very compassionate, sensitive, loving, handsome, and funny! It has been an honor and joy to spend the last 11 years with Brian. God has changed his heart so much since we first met. I love the way he allows God to lead our lives and how he constantly relies on God's will for what is best for us! I cannot imagine that last 15 years(that is how long we have been together) without him! He is an incredible supporter, husband, and best friend! I love the way we work together and the way God allows us to work together as a team. There have been some challenges in the past 11 years, but God has never failed us! Thank you Lord, for never leaving or forsaking us and always being right by our side and for bringing us through some hard times and teaching us to trust you and your timing!

Brian, Happy anniversary! I love you sooooo much! It has been a joy to journey life with you these past 11 years, honey, and I look forward to the next chapter in life as God allows us to be parents to Baby Willeford. What an honor and joy that we have been bestowed with! I love you!

We have plans today to hang out and go to a nice dinner tonight.
We went to dinner at Ted's Montana Grill!! It was so delicious! If you ever have a chance to go to one in US, go! It was awesome!! We walked around the shops at Briargate, which are some nice shops. We had a relaxing, enjoyable evening! Thanks for all the sweet comments! We love you all!

Great week and New links

We have had a great week relaxing and hanging out with friends. We had a great 4th of July with the Dunn family. No great pics to post, sorry. We had a cookout and played blongo again. I went to ladies bunco last night and it was just Susan and I, but that was great to be able to hang out with her! She taught me a new card game called Nertz(spelling unknown).I can't wait to teach Brian and take him down. :)) We are enjoying our new home, new nursery, and all of the fun great gifts we have received. I am in the process of figuring out what to wash now and what to wait on. This is all new to me. :))

There are two new links on the left side of our blog. The one titled "Praying for Molly" is a series of devotions that a friend of mine, Heather Arbuckle, is writing each week for a family in McKinney whose daughter has recently been diagnosed with Leukemia. Heather tries to post her devotions on the days that the little girl has her treatments. I have enjoyed reading the devotions during my quiet times lately. Feel free to check out the blog and lift up this precious little girl named Molly.

The other new link titled "Aimee and Lonnie" is the blog of some dear friends who we knew when we were in McKinney, Aimee and Lonnie. We were in small group together for a few years. They now have three precious children and I just found their blog today. :) Great to be back in touch!

Enjoy your weekend! For those of you in TX enjoy your days of sunshine!! I hear it has rained for 17 days straight! Wow!
Love to all,
T and B
