Our Christmas Tree

We put up our Christmas tree this weekend! It is so amazing to see things through the eyes of our children! Pearson loved the tree! He loved all of the football ornaments as you can see in the video.

Happy Thanksgiving 2009!

I feel so extremely blessed and have so much to be thankful for! I am thankful for God's grace, mercy, and love! I am thankful for my precious family and friends. I am extremely thankful that God has allowed me to be Pearson and Aaron's Mommy! We had a great day hanging out as a family and then hosting the Thanksgiving meal here at our house with our friends. Everything was delicious! We hope all of you had a great day too! Here are a few pics of our day, you can hold the mouse over the picture to see the caption below it.

Aaron is 9 months old!

Aaron is now 9 months old! I can't believe it!! In some ways it feels like yesterday he joined our family and then other days I feel like I have had two boys forever! God is so good to allow me to be his Mommy! He is such a joy! He is pulling up on everything, babbling more, growing and eating more and more daily! Enjoy the slide show.

Big brother had to get in on the picture taking action today. He wouldn't let Aaron sit in the chair until I took his pic! So funny, he knows the drill! I'm sure he was thinking, "Once a month we sit in this chair, so take my pic, Mom!" Funny how the chair transforms into a jungle gym! Love those boys!

Aaron is pulling up!

Aaron can now pull up on everything! He is so cute and fun these days! Enjoy his talking, aka squealing!

Our Sweet boys!

The boys were sent some very fun stickers for Halloween from Uncle Dickie and Aunt Philis. I tried to get them to decorate the pumpkin with me, but honestly they weren't interested. So, I decorated it! Then had them pose for pics! Pearson keeps saying, "punkin... stickers".


Aaron had his first swing ride last week at the park. He seemed to like it a lot! Sorry the one of them together isn't so great!



I pulled out one of Pearson's birthday presents this past week. Sometimes, I put things back until a later time and he doesn't know the difference at this age. We opened his Sesame Street Bubble Maker and Bubble counter! he loved it! Thanks Aunt Tam!

Halloween 2009

We have had a great Halloween weekend! We went to a fall festival at a church Friday night, Barnes and Noble for storytime, and then trick or treating tonight. This was Pearson's first real time to trick or treat. He did great! I think he wanted to go into each person's house. He would say "tank you" to each person! So precious! I am grateful for my sweet friend Susan who went with me trick or treating as Brian had his football game tonight. Thanks again, Susan!!!

Open, eyes, heart!

Pearson listens to a Micheal W Smith worship cd during nap and bedtimes. He amazes me what he knows from this cd! He can say "whoo!" on cue with Micheal, sing the words, and say phrases from the cd! He is so cute! Listen closely in this video as he says "open, eyes, heart", he is trying to say "Open the eyes of my heart, I want to see You" So precious! I pray he always has a heart for the Lord! Hearing my child praise the Lord, draws me closer to praise Him too!

Aaron is 8 months old!!

For some reason the 8 month photo shoot becomes challenging with my boys! I reviewed Pearson's 8 month shots this week only to laugh as Aaron's was just as challenging! He crawled out of the chair as fast as I put him in it! He did not want to sit still! Even with the Daddy's help, we still didn't get a good smiling shot. Oh well, you get the big idea! He is so cute these days! Crawling, chewing everything, babbling, giggling and just being a pure joy!

Sunday Best!

The boys looked so cute all dressed for church this morning so I had Brian take a few pictures of them while I finished getting ready. Love these little guys so much!

Fun Playdate with cupcakes!

We had a great time this morning playing with our sweet friends Amanda, Mackenzie, and Adelynn! Both daddies were working so we got together for a fun playdate and cupcake baking adventure! We had a blast sharing life, lunch, and cupcakes. Mackenzie ate every ounce of her cupcake, but Pearson wasn't too sure of his. He must not be my son to not like sweets. He took a taste of the icing, got it on his hands and said, "Uh-oh!!!" Once I got him all cleaned up and he was happy to play again. I am so blessed to have Amanda in my life who has babies the same ages. Thanks, Amanda for having us over. :)

Boys 1st Bath Together!

Coach Willeford and his boys! We went to Brian's football game last week for all of 30 minutes before it got too chilly! As soon as Pearson's nose started running we packed it up!! Pearson is so cute at the games. He gets down in a stance and then runs in circles when the play begins! Then tackles the ground. He is so cute! Football must be in his genes!

Pumpkin Patch 2009

We went to the Happy Apple Farm in Penrose, CO today. The admission and tractor ride is free! Best price! You just pay for what you pick by the weight of the pumpkins. I loved that part! It was a great family day for only $10! Pearson was so excited to ride a tractor and pick a "punkin" as he calls it! After a beautiful drive there we had a blast picking our own pumpkins and riding a tractor. We packed a picnic lunch and ate there. It was a beautiful fall day to pick pumpkins with our two precious "punkins"!!

Zoo in October

We went to the zoo again on fall break and had a blast! Pearson kept asking before we went if he could see the ducks! I wasn't so sure our zoo had ducks, but thankfully they do!!! We found them near a new exhibit and he was so happy. He loved the monkeys, giraffes or "jar" as he says, and the grizzly bear! Each time we go is more fun as he is learning so much these days and can say more and more words! Enjoy the slide show!

Aaron is crawling!!!

Now I think my days might be a little more busy now that two boys are mobile!!! Aaron started crawling this weekend and there is no stopping him now! He is so cute! Enjoy the video!
