New House and Happy Memorial Day!!!

Hello friends! We had an eventful weekend: closing on our new house, moving in, new house projects, and fun with friends on Memorial Day! We are happy to report that God blessed us with a great closing on our new house on Friday and a very successful move! We have been very blessed with a great church family who helped us move in on Sat. Two special ladies organized our kitchen while the rest of the crew moved all the stuff out of the old house. After about 3 hours we were moved! We started unpacking and working on house projects right away. This weekend Brian has installed three sets of blinds, purchased a garage door opener, taken down 2 ceiling fans and moved lots of things for me. We love the new house and look forward to what God has planned here for us. Pictures to come when we are more settled. :))

We had a great time playing and relaxing with the Dunn family today. They are always so great to include us on family events and invite us to join them. We had a cookout and played a fun game called Blongo. Brian and Mark showed off their acrobatic talents. Enjoy!

To our new blogger family members who has posted lately: Thanks for posting!! It is great to know you are out there looking at our blog! Great to hear from you, Uncle Dave and Aunt Aunt! Love you!!

We have 7 days of school left this year: but who is counting?!?! We hope you all have a great week!

Update on life

Hello friends and family,
All is good here! Not too much to update, but here goes. We have been busy packing the house to get ready to move to the new house this weekend. I say we, but really it has been Brian. He is a packer and an organizer. I am so blessed. We are looking forward to moving into the new house and to be able to call it ours and paint the rooms we want and to plant flowers and do all the fun things home owners do!

Baby Willeford is doing great. We went to the dr. yesterday. All is good. We are so blessed with a great doctor. The pregnancy is going well and is such a blessing. I sometimes have trouble sleeping due to leg restlessness and such, so I am awake a 4am to type email and update the blog. I am beginning to think sleep is overrated. Maybe I am just getting prepared for the future when Brianna or Pearson keep me awake. :))

We are getting excited that school will be ending soon. 11 days left, but who is counting??? We are also getting excited about another trip to Texas in June.

Ok, that is all I can think of for now. Heather, hope this updates sustains you for you now sweet friend! And to my lurker friend out there, thanks for posting!! It is great to hear from you! Stay in touch!

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Hello friends! Happy Mother's Day to my mom, Carol Ann and to all my momma friends out there. To my momma, I love you very much! I know today was a little hard as I was not there, so sorry. I will be there in 4 weeks. :) To Carol Ann, thank you for raising such a Godly son! To my sister, Tammi, thank you for being a great example for me and a great momma to Maddie Grace and Mason! They are so lucky! Happy Mom's Day!

Today was a special day! In the past this day has brought mixed emotions as I have wanted to be a mommy for so long and today I am a mommy to this little one growing inside of me! It was wierd to have people tell me "Happy Mother's Day!" I never knew if my dream of being a mommy would come true. But God is so good and He knew exactly when that dream would come true for us.

We went to a different church today to be present for our friend's baby dedication. It was very special. Then we hung out this afternoon packing our house a little more and then went to a special dinner at Saltgrass. Here are a few pics of Brian and I together. I am now 25 weeks pregnant and the belly is growing. I know some of you enjoy seeing the growing belly. :))

We hope all is well with all of you! More later!
Love,

Special Visitor!!

We had a special visitor come through town this week! Carol Ann, Brian's mom, was able to come see us! As many of you know she has recently battled lung cancer and we never thought she would be able to come to Colorado Springs due to the altitude and her breathing troubles. Well, God had a different plan. She and three other friends have rented an RV and are traveling around US and they were able to stop through here. We were thrilled! She is doing well and we had a great visit. It was great to see here!
We continue to do well. We started packing the house this weekend to get ready for moving to our new house.
Small world story.... My mom ran into Amber Rice in Canton today. Mom called to tell me that she recognized a cute little boy and she thought where do I know him from? Oh... the blogs.. That is Heather's sister in law... So my mom went up to Amber and they had a good time visiting. So to all my blogger friends, it is great to keep in touch this way and stay connected. :) TaTa for now!
