Ladies Brunch...Belly Pics...New house

Hi everyone! The ladies brunch was a hit!! Yea! God is so good. All week I had been asking God that if He wanted me to share something to lay it on me. I patiently waited, researched, read, and prayed. As I was going to bed last night thoughts started coming to me and then this morning before the brunch it all came together. God gave me words of wisdom. I shared a devotional about how God is crazy about you and each of us are a daughter of the King. God gave me scriptures to share and a devotional out of a book I have about how he wants us to come to Him for rest for our souls. Two other ladies prepared 4 songs for worship and they were all perfect. God definately showed up and blessed us. The tables and food turned out great too.

Here are a few more belly pics. I am now 23 weeks pregnant and loving this time in my life. God has taught me to embrace this time and I am. I love being with child and feeling this miracle baby move. The picture of the sign is at Whole Foods. We never thought we could park in these special parking places and so we took a picture of it. Silly, I know. :))

I am also attaching a pic of our new house. The inspection went great last week and all is going well. We are scheduled to close on May 25th. Yea! Now it is packing time. I asked Brian if we could wait to start packing until after the ladies brunch. :)) He agreed.

Surprise on our door step today and update!!!

Hello blogger friends.
I must update or my friend Heather is going to come to CO to get me! Just kidding!

We had a great surprise when we got home from work today. We drove in the driveway and I saw a big Babies R Us box. So we immediately opened it to find our 6 piece crib set for the nursery delivered to us from my best friend from college, Kat!! Kat, thank you sooooooo very much! It made our day!

We are excited about a few upcoming events in our lives: this precious baby I am carrying, a new house on the horizon, and a ladies brunch I am planning for our church.

This precious baby Willeford(Brianna or Pearson) continues to move around and let me know that all is good in there. And the dr. says all is good and we heard the heartbeat again on Monday! Praise the Lord!!

We put an offer on a house here in Colorado Springs. It is about a mile from our current house that we are renting. It is a two story, 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath house with a beautiful kitchen. It is in our price range and in the area of town we wanted to stay in. We are excited. We didn't want to rent forever. We are having the house inspected tomorrow(Sat.) and if all goes well we will close on May 25th.

I am planning a ladies brunch for the ladies ministries for our church. I am excited about this. It will be a great time of fellowship, fun, and food. I am praying that if God wants me to share a devotional or testimony that He will lay something on my heart.

Happy Easter!!!!

Hi! Happy Easter!! We hope you all had a great Easter! We had a snowy Easter here. We hope you enjoy the last picture with huge snowflakes falling on us. We had a great day at church and hanging out with the Dunn family. We are very grateful that they have adopted us as one of them. We are so grateful for God's grace and mercy on this very special Easter. We pray this finds all of you well!

A praise report for Carol Ann-She has finished her treatments and she had her tests and scans done last week and the tumor has decreased in size and she is doing very well. She hopes to have the stomach tube removed very quickly. She is claiming victory and giving God all the praise. Thank you for your prayers for her!

Awesome Trip to TX!!!

Hello friends and family,
We are delighted to let you know that we had an incredible Spring Break in TX! We were showered with many blessings, gifts, and hugs and kisses! We went to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of McFBC ( our previous church in McKinney) and to see family and friends. The anniversary celebration was so great! On Saturday night when we went to a dinner celebration the word that we are pregnant spread like wild fire. It was very fun to have so many people who have prayed for us for so long to be so excited for us!

On Sunday we were showered with blessings and many great baby gifts from our former life group! It was a great time to visit with our friends. It was so great to see everyone! It was especially great to see my friend, Heather! You look great gal! And especially great to see my friend Jenny who now lives in Houston. Thanks for coming to town the same weekend as me girl! Thanks again to all who were there for showering us with so much love and gifts!

On Monday I went to Slaughter Elem. and Wolford Elem. to see all my former colleagues and I had a blast visiting with everyone! I even got to see former students.

We spent the rest of the week visiting with our precious families. We spent a few days in Greenville and then a few days in Ft. Worth. We had a great time hanging out with Nannie and Mom(CarolAnn) and the Willeford bunch. We also had a great time with the Upchurch crew. I went to Disney on Ice with Madeleine Grace and my family. It was great to see all of our neices and nephews. They have all grown so much. Enjoy the new pics of them. We also went to visit my sweet grandfather, Papaw, who lives in Decatur. He got to meet my sweet nephew for the first time. We had a blast laughing with him.

It was hard to leave as we love all of them so much, although we know God has called us here to CO Springs and so we were ready to get back to what He has for our lives.
