We went to Focus on the Family to play today while Brian was off for MLK day! We had a blast! Both boys had a lot of fun playing in the room specifically for kids their age. Pearson went down a bigger slide for the first time and had a blast! We are very grateful for this family, friendly play area!
Cherishing every moment together on this amazing journey as a family!

Aaron is 10 months old!
Better late than never, right!?!! Aaron turned 10 months old on Dec. 23rd, but I never took his 10 month pics until today! He is growing so fast! He now has three teeth, can clap, say "da-da" and "ma-ma" but not really associating the words with Brian and I. He loves his big brother! Even after Pearson pushes him or hits him and is then in "time out" Aaron crawls right over to him, as if to say, "Hey, bro, why are you over here and not with me?" He is such a joy! Enjoy his pics!

Playdate at Barnes and Noble!
We have discovered storytime at Barnes and Noble on Friday mornings. They read a story, serve a cookie and apple juice, let the kids color a picture and they have a train table! Pearson is set! Throughout the month of December they did not have storytime and Pearson asked for a cookie, juice, and the train table all month! I tried explaining we would go back in January, but my 2 year old does not understand months yet. He's a smart guy and all, but not there yet! So needless to say he was excited this week when I said we will go there on Friday! We met our friends Grayson and Kristen there and had a blast! Until it was time to go! Sweet Pearson threw the biggest fit I have ever seen him throw! He did not want to leave the train table! He kept saying, I mean screaming "Thomas! Back!" In other words, "Take me back to the Thomas the Train table!" I stood my ground and calmly placed him in the stroller and wheeled the boys out of the calm, quiet bookstore and buckled him in his car seat all while he is kicking and screaming! Eventually 10 minutes into our drive home cheeze-it crackers calmed him down. I tried explaining we would go back next Friday IF he calmed down. We'll see about that one! It will get better, right??!?!!?!! Enjoy the pics of our fun time!

Sunday Attire!
We are having a great Sunday! The boys were able to wear new shirts for church today, although as you can see by the picture, Aaron wanted no part of the picture taking!! They both looked so cute! After church we quickly slipped into our Dallas Cowboys attire! Game time is soon and two sweet boys are napping! Go Cowboys!

Christmas 2009
We had a great Christmas! We originally had planned to head to Texas on Mon, Dec. 21st, but then got antsy once we were all packed, so we decided to leave a day early and surprise our family. It was a great surprise, especially when we saw the look on my mom's face! Priceless! We traveled all in one day from 4am to 6pm, but it wasn't too bad. We had a great time hanging at my sister's house for a few days and then a few days at my parent's house. We had tons of fun of playing, baking, cooking, shopping, eating, and just having family fun together. We had some friendly competition at Wii bowling and spoons! So fun!
We headed over to Greenville on Saturday morning for more family fun! Again we played, ate, played and ate some more! We spent some quality time with Nannie, although sadly enough I don't have one picture of her and the boys! Bummer! We enjoyed seeing quite a bit of the extended family. Again we played Wii bowling and Pearson loved it!
It was so great to see everyone and enjoy Christmas together! The boys were very blessed with new toys and clothes. Thank you to everyone who blessed them immensely! Enjoy the slide show, again you can hold the mouse over the picture to see the captions. :)
