Pearson's new room!

Here is a video of Pearson's new room! He slept great for a nap and through the night on Sunday! It is really amazing to see our house changing again! We are so thrilled and blessed!

Sleeping so soundly for a morning nap (yes, I am soooooooooooooo blessed that on most days he will still go down for a little bit of a morning nap!)

Pearson is 17 months old today!!

So I thought I would take a few 17 month pictures today as on Pearson's 18 month bday he will be one day away from being a big brother! Pearson is so much fun these days (as always)! He is learning new words, signs, and understands our words more! It is so fun to watch him learn. He babbles a lot and we wish we knew exactly what he is saying! Enjoy these snapshots I caught this morning. The two scrapes on his sweet little face happened yesterday when he let go of my hand and fell on the cement garage floor! I just couldn't get there fast enough to catch him! Oops!

Great weekend!

We have had a great three day weekend with Brian off today! We have had lots of family fun together! We put up the new bed in Pearson's room and bought him new sheets and a dust ruffle today. Our plan is to leave the nursery a nursery for the new baby with the green gingham and move Pearson into a new room with navy blue and red accents. We will move him this weekend to give him plenty of time to adjust to his new room before his baby brother is born in 5 weeks. Mentioning the new baby, we had another dr appt today. All is good. He is growing and doing well and so am I. If all goes well, he will be born on Feb. 23rd via c-section. We have elected to have a 2nd c section due to the risks and after pushing Pearson for almost 3 hours, this options sounds better to us. And for all youcurious readers out there we are keeping his name a secret until his arrival. We also put up the swing again and put the infant car seat in the car! It is very hard to believe that this family of three will be a family of four very soon! We are so very blessed!

Pearson rode the Big Bird ride at Babies R Us today and showed so much emotion (NOT!) Enjoy!

Self Spoon Feeding!

Pearson has been working on learning how to use a spoon on his own. We have tried this a few times before only to make a very big mess. I decided to try again this morning with applesauce and he did great! Enjoy the video! Sorry if it is a little dark!

Meeting Ian Kelleher!!

On Sunday we went to meet Brian's cousin Elizabeth's new precious baby. Sean and Elizabeth welcomed Ian Christopher into the world on New Year's Eve! He is so tiny and precious. Pearson was so sweet with him. He would just stand and look at him and then pat his blanket very gently. It was a precursor to our life in 6 weeks. We had a great afternoon with them!

Christmas 2008

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! We had a great Christmas and hope the rest of you did too! We were blessed with safe travels and much great fellowship with family! Pearson got a little sick while we were there, so we were very grateful for our nebulizer(again)! Of course he bounced back the day we started home. It is always so good to go to see the fam, but also so good to be back home at our house. We hope you all have a blessed 2009!
